Dr. Diana Almy is a native of Stafford County, Virginia (just north of Fredericksburg). She graduated in the Top 10 of her class from Stafford Senior High School. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Virginia. She then completed dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia, finishing first in her class. Her postgraduate residency in orthodontics was also completed at the Medical College of Virginia. She had over three years of clinical experience at other orthodontic offices when she realized she wanted to return to her hometown to begin her own practice.

Dr. Almy is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, the Virginia Association of Orthodontists, along with the American and Virginia Dental Associations. She is also a member of the Rappahannock Valley Dental Society and the Medical College of Virginia Orthodontic Research and Education Foundation.

Dr. Almy is married to her college sweetheart, Robb, who is the pastor of New Season United Methodist Church (www.newseasonumc.org). They have two wonderful sons, Robert and Jack. Their home is in Caroline County and filled with animals – dogs, Paul and Leggs, cat, Wheezie, and goats, Slim and Bug! She enjoys reading and doing home improvement projects in her spare time. She also loves getting to know her patients and their parents and being a part of this important time in their lives.

Courtney Payne is our Head Clinical Assistant and native of Spotsylvania County. She is a graduate of the Spotsylvania County school system dental careers program and brings over five years of orthodontic experience to the office. Courtney and Danny, her husband, live in Partlow with their Basset Hound, Annabelle. In her spare time, she is an Independent Longaberger Consultant and also enjoys scrapbooking.

Megan Williams is our part-time Sterilization and Lab Assistant. She currently attends Spotsylvania High School and is taking the dental careers program. In her spare time, she enjoys being with friends, shopping and jet skiing. Her animals include Caress, a Sheltie, three cats, Sassy, Alley and Muffy, and a turtle named Tina!
   
Janice Treakle is our New Patient Coordinator and comes to us with over 30 years of orthodontic experience. She lives in King George with her husband, Jim and daughter, Tammy. Her son, Brian, is a teacher at John J. Wright Middle School and her daughter-in-law teaches at River Bend High School. Janice’s off time is spent enjoying her Sheltie, Teddy, her cat, Shadow, and her new granddaughter, Ava. Not necessarily in that order of course!

Katrina Seestedt is our Clinical Assistant and comes to us with over 10 years of experience. She and her husband, Scott, have 17 year old twin girls, Mallory and Meagan, an 11 year old daughter, MiKayla, and a son, Scott. Her husband’s been in the Marine Corps for over 21 years taking the family many places; Ohio, North Carolina, California, and Okinawa, Japan! In Katrina’s spare time she likes to paint and has a mural business called “All About Murals”.
   
   
Jami McManus, our office manager, comes to us with thirteen years of experience in the dental field. She and her husband, Dan have two sons, Colin and Baustin who both attend Colonial Forge High School. In her spare time Jami enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and movies!
